One of the good things about the 2020 election is that there was a ‘Red Wave’ in the House with 27 toss-up seats and even some “lean Democrat” seats all going to the Republicans.
Republicans cleaned Democrats’ clock in the House in a big way, gaining at least 12 seats with a couple of races still to be decided.
Indeed, that’s one of the reasons it’s so hard to accept the claim that President Donald Trump didn’t win when not only was there that wave but he had 95% approval, record primary votes, gained 11 million more votes in the general election than 2016 and greater minority vote shares than in 2016 as well.
So here’s a picture of all the Democrats who lost the seats they had in the House.

Democratic Majority Leader Steny Hoyer tried to encourage them to “not lose heart” about losing.
But here’s the bottom line. A lot of the folks lost because it was a referendum on Democrats and the game playing by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).
As NRSC Senior Advisor Matt Whitlock explained, Pelosi is why a lot of the people are out on their rears. He said this was a “who’s who of Democrats who begged Speaker Pelosi to negotiate on COVID relief before the election” but “unfortunately she left them hanging out to dry and now they are seeing new employment.”
Americans made Democrats pay a price for stringing them along on such things. It’s pure gold seeing some folks like Clintonista Rep. Donna Shalala (D-FL) out. The picture doesn’t even include everyone. Gotta love the tears, quite frankly.
But that sad picture gave House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) the opportunity for an epic troll.

Oofa, nicely done! Shot fully landed.
Even the Politico reporter had to give him a hat tip.
