If you’re reading this, congratulations on not dying from global warming! It was on June 21, 2018, that the global warming prophet-child Greta Thunberg uttered her not-very-accurate prophecy (a tweet, actually) that all life on the planet would die if we didn’t stop using all fossil fuels in the next five years. Anyway, happy sixth anniversary, Greta!
You really have to hand it to the global warming kooks. They are remarkably consistent when it comes to making doomsday predictions that never come to pass. Greta Thunberg is far from the only alarmist to have cold water poured on her silly prophecies.
In 2006, former Vice President Al Gore claimed that we would be doomed by 2016, unless we took immediate and drastic action to stop using petroleum products. In 2008, media mogul Ted Turner said that climate inaction would cause our doom by 2018.
“None of the crops will grow,” Turner insisted. “Most of the people will have died and the rest of us will be cannibals.”
That sounds awful! We’d better do what Ted Turner says before 2018 rolls around!
In 2009, then-Prince Charles claimed that we had just eight years to stop using all fossil fuels, otherwise, we would face “irretrievable climate and ecosystem collapse.”
None of their predictions ever come true because global warming is a false religion that has nothing to do with science. It’s amazing that anyone still believes anything that these whack-jobs say. How many times does someone get to lie to your face before you decide that maybe they don’t have your best interest in mind?
Have you noticed that they’re never embarrassed when their false prophecies come true? They never apologize. They simply shift the timeline again and tell us we’re all going to die from sunshine and fresh air a few years from now unless we act immediately.
